Tips for printing patterns

Once you know the right size for your dog, download the pdf file with the patterns on your computer.

How to print the patterns:

To open the patterns you can use any PDF reader like Adobe Reader, Foxit or your default browser like Edge, Chrome, Firefox.

You can download for free Adobe Reader on their official website here: http://www.adobe.com/products/

You can download for free Foxit on their official website here: https://www.foxitsoftware.com/

PAPER SIZE: You can print the patterns at home with a standard home printer. Patterns can be printed on DINA4 (210x297mm/8.27×11.69inches) paper size and Letter size (8.5×11 inches/216x279mm)

PRINT SETTINGS: Important! before printing, make sure you set “borderless” on print settings,
so in the print settings box, make sure that the file is set to print at “actual size,” or “scale at 100%” and do not check the box “scale to fit” or “print to scale”.This ensures patterns print at 100% correct size.

TEST SQUARE: In the patterns there is a 1x1inch test square so that you can make sure the pattern will print at the correct size. Locate the page of the pattern that has the test square. Print this page only and if the test square measure 1×1 inch, then print the entire pattern.

If the test square does not measure correctly, please check your print scaling options again.

ASSEMBLING THE PATTERN: Please note that some of the patterns due to its big size are split into two or more pages, so you have to print all the pages, cut out all the parts and join them together (with glue or tape) to get the entire pattern.

Hope this helps!

    Hi,
I'm hoping to join the sweater pattern to the pants pattern to make an all-in-one which would hopefully be harder for my doggie to remove it on her own. Any tips for joining the two patterns would be appreciated 🙂

She's not keen on wearing anything, but she is getting older and the winters are getting colder, so I need to keep her warm when she's not snuggled under her blanket.
    Thanks for the awesome patterns!

Thank You! you are so very generous to share your wonderful patterns with everyone. Patterns can be so expensive and many of us make items for our furkids from recycled clothing of our own so you are helping those of use who cannot always afford the new items for our babies and helping to save the planet by recycling discarded clothing. THANK YOU!

Thank you for this pattern. I was looking for a good sweater pattern to sew for my very sick dog who will be undergoing major surgery. This pattern will keep my hands busy the next few days while we wait and the resulting sweaters will keep him warm and keep him from licking his wound. Thanks again, I'm very grateful! Krista
